Celebrating Gay Culture

The Game's So Tame You Can Even Play it With Your Mother

Homogenius™, the gay trivia board game, celebrates gay culture and explores the contributions that gay personalities have made to theater, music, movies, television, publishing and politics.

The object of the board game, which comes packaged in a stylish trunk-like box, is to come out of the closet by correctly answering a series of gay trivia questions in two categories: Rumor and Potpourri.

Players start In the Closet and whoever gets Out of the Closet first wins.

The game includes:

  • 355 question cards
  • 6 game tokens + 1 die
  • Colorful game board

A Family Affair

When Marianne Trani gathered her family around the dining room table to play trivia board games, her gay brother Charles often pulled up a chair to join his nieces Allison and Chris.

For the benefit of Uncle Chuck, as well as wanting to amuse and entertain him, the girls often would add a gay-oriented question to the game.

Over the years this became part of the Trani family tradition and caused the girls to explore deeper and deeper into the gay culture in order to find acceptable questions.

Today, their exploration into gay culture has evolved into Homogenius™, the gay trivia board game.
